Tapiola Choir with Pasi Hyökki, conductor, and Eva Alkula, electric kantele
In its spring concert, the choir presents a new programme of music tailored to the group. It includes works for choir and electric kantele by the American composer Alex Freeman, who spent some time studying in Finland, as well as a premiere of a work with visuals by Mika Launis, the illustrator of the Harry Potter books in Finland. Perhaps there will be a new “Aglepta” or “Water under the snow is weary” among these new pieces.
